Student Engagement at UIC encompasses six departments in Student Affairs including the Center for Student Involvement (CSI), Commuter & Off-Campus Life (COCL), Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL), High Impact Student Engagement (HISE), New Student & Family Programs (NSFP), and Student Leadership & Civic Engagement (SLCE).

Student Engagement happens all over campus at UIC; however, these departments work to ensure that every student at UIC has an opportunity to connect, develop leadership, and learn through valuable co-curricular experiences. As a Flame, we expect all students to Explore, Expand, and Excel through their years at UIC.
